For years my husband and I would joke that there needed to be a clothing brand that just specialized in one thing; women's clothing with functional pockets.

Until that clothing brand exists the best I could do was start keeping a list of products that did. And now I am taking the time to curate that list for the rest of the internet to benefit as well.

Along with curating the list, I'll be testing pocket size and using a standardized rating system so you can reliably know if its right for you.

PSA - Pocket Size Angle

PSA is my standardized measuring system to compare pocket sizes and angles to commonly carried items. By making it relatable and consistent, you know exactly what you are getting especially if you buy online.

Pocket Size:

  • Key - holds only a standard house key

  • Card - holds/covers a standard credit card without showing

  • Hand - comfortably fits a 7" mannequin hand leaving thumb out but palm and fingers in

  • Phone - completely holds an average smartphone (tested with Pixel 5)

Pocket Angle:

  • Horizontal - Wider than it is deep

  • Diagonal - Angled Inward, Shallow, roughly same wide as deep

  • Vertical - Deeper than it is wide


Together these terms will label each item as a pair.
